Job Description:
We are currently seeking a talented and driven Mortgage Agent to join our team at Dominion Lending Centre. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in mortgage origination, a thorough understanding of lending regulations, and exceptional communication skills. As a Mortgage Agent, you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through the mortgage application process, assessing their financial needs, and recommending suitable loan products.
Responsibilities:
– Communicate with clients to understand their mortgage needs and financial goals
– Collect and review necessary documentation for loan applications
– Analyze client financial information to determine loan eligibility
– Present mortgage options and provide guidance on selecting the most suitable loan products
– Negotiate loan terms and conditions with lenders on behalf of clients
– Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
– Maintain accurate records of client interactions and loan progress
– Provide ongoing support to clients throughout the loan process, addressing any questions or concerns that may arise
Qualifications:
– Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients
– Proficient in cash management and financial calculations (English, Math)
– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
– Ability to analyze financial information and make informed decisions
– Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications
– Prior experience in the financial services industry is preferred but not required
